pontaj.eu update: 12 languages, team tasks and GPS time tracking

We have released an update that brings three major improvements to pontaj.eu: the app now speaks 12 languages, teams can organize their work with a new tasks and to-do section, and time tracking can be limited to the workplace area, using GPS.

pontaj.eu, now in 12 languages

Each user can choose the language in which they see the app - on web and on mobile. It is especially useful for companies with multinational teams or foreign workers, who can clock in and request leave in their own language.

The languages available now are:

• English, Romanian
• Hungarian, Italian, German, Turkish
• Russian, Arabic, Urdu, Bengali, Nepali, Sinhala

You can change the language at any time from the account settings, and the theme (light or dark) stays the choice of each user.

Team tasks and to-do

The new tasks section turns pontaj.eu from a simple attendance tool into a place where you coordinate the work of the team. You can:

• assign tasks to one or more employees;
• set a due date and priority for each task;
• track the status (to do, in progress, done) of the whole team from a single dashboard.

Everything is synced between the web and mobile apps, and employees receive automatic reminders as deadlines approach, so nothing is forgotten.

Time tracking only within the workplace area (GPS)

For field work or fixed workplaces, you can now limit time tracking to a geographic area. For each workplace you define a circular perimeter on the map, and the mobile app only allows clocking in when the employee is inside it.

• configurable perimeter on the map, per workplace;
• clock-in allowed only inside the area;
• strict or permissive mode for situations without a GPS signal.

The feature is available from the mobile app (Android and iOS) and helps you make sure attendance is registered right from the workplace.

Where to find them

All three features are already active in your account. The language is changed from each user profile, tasks have their own section in the menu, and GPS geofencing is configured per workplace. See all features.
